Oracle PL/SQL Developer (Financials)

About the role

Excel Nearshore is looking for an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer to design, develop and optimise database solutions that support Oracle Financial Accounting processes such as General Ledger, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. The role is fully remote and part of a collaborative, cross‑functional team.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance and maintain complex Oracle SQL and PL/SQL objects, including stored procedures, packages, functions and triggers.
• Perform performance tuning, query optimisation and root‑cause analysis for Oracle databases supporting financial applications.
• Support and maintain Oracle Financial processes (GL, AR, AP) and integrate with .NET and Azure‑based solutions.
• Develop data integrations, reporting, ETL processes and batch jobs, and participate in code reviews, testing and production support.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on Oracle database development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Financial Accounting modules (GL, AR, AP) and experience supporting enterprise financial systems.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
