Operational Technology Support Engineer 1

About the role

Provide global operational and technical support for Operational Technology (OT) systems across Smith+Nephew manufacturing sites, acting as the first point of contact for incident management, troubleshooting, and user assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first and second‑level support for OT applications such as Tulip, eDHR solutions, and related integrations, monitoring performance and meeting service‑level expectations.
• Manage incidents, problems, and changes in ServiceNow, escalating critical issues and participating in root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain compliance documentation, SOPs, and support audit preparation, deviation investigations, and change control activities.
• Participate in OT improvement projects, system deployments, upgrades, validations, and global standardisation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 1 year of experience supporting manufacturing systems, OT, MES, or eDHR applications.
• Advanced English communication skills and ability to work in cross‑functional, global environments.
