About the role

The Receiving Officer is responsible for the receipt, packaging, and inventory control of finished products at the CEDI Coyol distribution centre. The role ensures accurate tracking of stock, proper handling of pallets, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive raw materials and finished goods, grouping them by product family for appropriate movement.
• Package pallets daily using strapping to prevent box falls.
• Enter product data into the WMS/SAP inventory system using computers and handheld scanners.
• Transport finished products to the designated storage area with a hydraulic pallet jack or forklift.
• Generate daily reports of product entries and exits, recording date, code, batch, pallet number, and correcting electronic records.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area and apply correct storage practices, labeling, and product arrangement.
• Operate a forklift when the warehouse operator is unavailable, except in frozen, refrigerated, or ambient zones.
• Follow food safety, sustainability, quality, environmental, carbon‑neutral, and occupational health & safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Complete secondary education or vocational training.
• Minimum of one year experience in inventory handling or warehouse operations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with WMS and SAP inventory systems.
• Use of handheld scanners for data entry.
• Operation of hydraulic pallet jacks.
• Forklift driving skills.
