North America Senior Compliance Specialist

About the role

The North America Senior Compliance Specialist will lead the implementation and oversight of financial control, compliance and governance across Haleon’s North American operating units. Acting as the first line of defence, you will ensure that finance policies, internal control frameworks and regulatory requirements are consistently applied.

Key responsibilities

• Provide compliance oversight across operating units, consolidating control outcomes from finance teams, regional and global centers, and audit results.
• Lead execution, monitoring and continuous improvement of financial controls in line with Haleon policies, SOX / non‑SOX frameworks and local regulations.
• Establish and maintain management monitoring processes for SOX and non‑SOX markets, including LOC controls.
• Serve as escalation point for control deficiencies, policy breaches and compliance risks.
• Partner with Internal and External Audit teams to plan audits, provide evidence, and remediate findings.
• Track, challenge and close audit findings and management actions promptly.
• Identify emerging financial compliance risks and recommend mitigation actions.
• Ensure adherence to the Haleon Finance Manual, accounting policies and governance standards.

Required profile

• Significant experience in financial compliance, internal controls and audit coordination.
• Strong knowledge of SOX and non‑SOX regulatory frameworks.
• Proven ability to design, document and monitor effective control processes.
• Excellent analytical skills with a proactive approach to risk identification.
• Ability to work collaboratively with finance, audit and governance teams across multiple regions.
