Network Engineer I/II

About the role

We are looking for a Network Engineer I/II to support and maintain our telecommunications network infrastructure. The role involves monitoring, troubleshooting, configuring, and supporting both enterprise and carrier‑grade networking environments in a fast‑paced telecom setting.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day network operations across enterprise and telecommunications environments.
• Monitor network performance and respond to incidents, outages, and service disruptions.
• Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN connections.
• Perform network maintenance, upgrades, and patching activities.
• Investigate and resolve connectivity, latency, and routing issues.
• Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to maintain network stability and performance.
• Participate in on‑call support rotations as needed.
• Follow established change management and network security procedures.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of network support or engineering experience for an Engineer I role, or 3‑5+ years for an Engineer II role.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPN technologies.
• Hands‑on experience with routing and switching protocols such as OSPF, BGP, STP.
• Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, or similar networking equipment.
• Familiarity with firewall administration (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA, Check Point).
• Ability to lead troubleshooting efforts and mentor junior engineers (for senior level).
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
