Network Activations Engineer (Hybrid)

About the role

The Network Activations Engineer will lead the strategic planning, design, testing and certification of Comcast Business’s internal communications network. The role ensures new network components are seamlessly integrated and deployed, supporting the company’s high‑speed broadband and managed solutions portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Determine and implement corporate communications network and IT standards for system‑wide consistency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues to maintain stability and optimal performance.
• Document internal telecommunications systems to keep accurate configurations and records.
• Design and configure telecommunications systems to meet organizational objectives.
• Establish and maintain network performance objectives aligned with business requirements and SLAs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate network solutions and enhance infrastructure capabilities.
• Monitor network performance proactively to identify and address potential issues.
• Contribute technical insights to the development of network strategies.
• Exercise independent judgment on significant matters and maintain regular, punctual attendance, including nights and weekends as needed.
