Mid-level Corporate & Litigation Paralegal

About the role

Progress is seeking a mid‑level corporate and litigation Paralegal to join its Enterprise Legal Services team. The position is hybrid, split between a home office and the Belén, Costa Rica office, and reports to the Principal Litigation Counsel.

Key responsibilities

• Support global litigation and customer disputes, including a large multi‑district data breach case in Massachusetts Federal Court.
• Prepare, review, draft and organize legal documents and responses for court proceedings and customer disputes.
• Manage discovery materials, conduct legal analysis and coordinate with external counsel and internal stakeholders.
• Conduct export compliance screenings (SDN/OFAC) and assist in auditing product export classifications.
• Assist data‑privacy projects: map personal data usage, perform privacy impact assessments and handle data subject access requests.
• Perform trademark clearing searches and file copyright registrations.
• Review and update company policies for employment law compliance and support special projects with Global Employment Counsel.
• Assist in reviewing, drafting and revising vendor contracts, NDAs, customer and supplier agreements, professional services and distributor agreements.

Required profile

• Mid‑level experience as a corporate or litigation paralegal.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple legal matters simultaneously.
• Excellent written communication in English.
• Detail‑oriented with a proactive approach to legal research and document management.
