MES Cutover Project Manager – Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated MES Cutover Project Manager to lead technical cutover activities for multiple MES instances across three manufacturing facilities in Costa Rica. The role will coordinate the transition from legacy systems to new MES environments, working closely with IT, manufacturing, vendors and senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, define scope, milestones and deliverables for MES deployments and ERP integration.
• Serve as primary liaison between IT, production, vendors and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and coordination.
• Monitor progress, track activities, manage risks and produce status reports for senior leadership.
• Allocate resources, manage schedules and ensure alignment with project timelines.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Identify and resolve issues early, escalating critical risks as needed.
• Support change‑management activities to facilitate smooth adoption of MES and ERP systems.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements and best‑practice implementation.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering MES or ERP cutovers/go‑lives in manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and MES‑ERP integration points.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi‑site deployments under tight go‑live timelines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills across technical and business teams.
• Ability to work under high pressure and meet strict deadlines.
