Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

Our client, Trelleborg Medical Solutions, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to support and improve manufacturing processes within a regulated medical device environment. The role focuses on developing cost-effective, lean solutions and may involve managing product launch activities.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze product specifications and translate them into manufacturing processes that meet production rates, quality, and reliability targets.
• Develop and document manufacturing methods for existing and new products, ensuring equipment and materials are properly labeled and qualified.
• Perform validation activities for equipment and processes, and manage the transfer of new products, equipment, and documentation to manufacturing.
• Support R&D activities related to equipment, processes, procedures, and system integration.
• Identify and implement process improvements using data analysis, change-control procedures, and lean methodologies.
• Coordinate non-conformance issues and support troubleshooting to ensure on-time delivery and product quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in medical-device manufacturing or a similarly regulated industry.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and scope.
