Manufacturing Engineer II

About the role

Confluent Medical Technologies is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to lead production planning, inventory control, and continuous‑improvement initiatives for multiple medical‑device products. The role focuses on optimizing product flow, capacity, and overall manufacturing efficiency while meeting service‑level targets.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environment, and quality regulations.
• Prepare and maintain engineering documentation and technical reports.
• Collaborate with R&D, design, transfer engineering, and customers to support product introductions.
• Develop, validate, and optimize manufacturing processes, equipment, tools, and fixtures.
• Perform root‑cause analysis, investigate quality issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct time studies, establish work standards, and execute cost analyses.
• Monitor yield, material usage, and overall process effectiveness.
• Lead new‑product introductions, product transfers, and production line validations.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers to support manufacturing and quality goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing processes, tooling, workflow, and production layouts.
• Working knowledge of Operational Excellence (OpEx) and basic quality tools.
• Experience in the medical‑device industry is preferred.
