Manager I HR Business Partner

About the role

As a Manager I HR Business Partner you will act as a trusted advisor to the San Rafael Manufacturing Leadership Team and oversee the local HR generalist team. You will help shape people strategy, drive culture, and ensure consistent HR delivery across TE Medical sites in Costa Rica.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the San Rafael Manufacturing Leadership team to align HR initiatives with business needs.
• Implement local HR policies and lead company‑wide programs such as succession planning, talent acquisition, total rewards, talent development, and change management.
• Deliver HR activities in leadership development, organization design, employee/labor relations, engagement, workforce planning, communications, and change management.
• Standardize HR processes and practices across both Costa Rican sites.
• Promote TE Medical values, foster inclusion, and unlock employee potential.
• Lead and develop the local BU HR team, focusing on effectiveness and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Regional HR Support, HR Services, and HR Centers of Excellence to ensure seamless service delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Human Resources or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including roles as HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, or HR Manager with people‑leadership responsibilities.
• Proven ability to partner with business and functional leaders in a matrixed, multinational environment.
• Experience with HR Services and employee self‑service delivery models.
• Strong credibility and trust‑building skills at all organizational levels.
• Execution‑focused with excellent interpersonal, organizational, and analytical abilities.
• Solution‑oriented and adaptable in rapidly changing settings.
• Functional expertise in Talent Management, HR Operations, Compensation & Benefits, and Employee/Labor Relations.
