Manager Clinical Data Management

About the role

Fortrea is expanding its Clinical Data Management team and seeks a Manager to lead high‑performing data management groups. The role provides strategic direction, resource planning, and quality oversight for global clinical trials.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop Clinical Data Management staff, ensuring competency and career growth.
• Plan and allocate resources to meet business objectives and service commitments.
• Monitor productivity, quality, utilization and performance metrics, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Oversee operational CDM activities to guarantee timely, high‑quality data delivery.
• Partner with cross‑functional project teams to support successful study execution and client expectations.
• Identify operational challenges and drive process‑improvement initiatives.
• Support quality management and control activities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and SOPs.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of departmental procedures and best practices.
• Assist business development through feasibility assessments and resource planning.

Required profile

• University degree in Life Sciences, Health Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Medical Technology, Laboratory Sciences or a related discipline.
• Equivalent experience in clinical research, clinical data management, pharmaceutical development or a related field.
