Maintenance Project Engineer

About the role

The Maintenance Project Engineer leads planning, coordination, and execution of maintenance and electrical engineering projects. This role ensures projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to technical specifications while maintaining safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define project philosophy, milestones, staffing needs, and develop schedules and budgets for engineering/maintenance projects.
• Install, repair, and commission electrical systems, wiring, conduit, and power supplies for industrial machinery, including conveyors and programmable controllers.
• Prepare and deliver project documentation, design packages, and bid materials; coordinate with management, production, and supporting teams.
• Monitor project progress, provide status reports, control expenditures, and adjust schedules as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of new technologies and safety regulations, recommending improvements and ensuring safe work practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience in planning and managing electrical or maintenance projects in an industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of the National Electric Code (NEC) and ability to apply it to various applications.
• Ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams, determine staffing requirements, and manage project deliverables.
• Familiarity with budgeting, scheduling, and reporting on project milestones.
