About the role
Amazon’s Disability Leave Services (DLS) team is seeking a dedicated LOA Case Manager to provide end‑to‑end support for employee leave of absence, disability, and accommodation events. This is an 11‑month fixed‑term contract where you will be the single point of contact for employees throughout their leave journey.
Key responsibilities
- Initiate and respond to employee inquiries about leave, disability events, benefits, and options.
- Review medical documentation and adjudicate leaves in compliance with Amazon policies, federal and state regulations.
- Develop, adjust, and monitor case management plans based on changing employee needs.
- Troubleshoot issues, remove barriers, and ensure smooth communication throughout the leave period.
- Facilitate return‑to‑work and ramp‑back plans, educating managers and business partners on employee concerns.
- Maintain accurate system records and coordinate with third‑party administrators, HR, Legal, Payroll, and Benefits teams.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, or a related field, or high school equivalent.
- At least 1 year of customer‑service experience.
- Strong understanding of leave policies and federal/state regulations.
