Leave of Absence Case Manager – Amazon (11‑month contract)

About the role

Amazon is seeking a dedicated Leave of Absence (LOA) Case Manager to join its Disability & Leave Services (DLS) team for an 11‑month contract. You will be the single point of contact for employees navigating leave of absence, disability, and accommodation events, ensuring a smooth, compliant, and supportive experience.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate and respond to employee inquiries about leave, disability events, benefits, and options.
• Review medical documentation and adjudicate leaves in compliance with Amazon policies, federal and state regulations.
• Develop and adjust case management plans based on changing employee needs.
• Troubleshoot issues, remove barriers, and communicate updates to employees and stakeholders.
• Facilitate return‑to‑work and ramp‑back plans, and educate managers on employee concerns.
• Maintain accurate system records and collaborate with HR, Legal, Payroll, Benefits, and third‑party administrators.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, or a related field, or high school equivalent.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Strong knowledge of federal/state leave regulations and Amazon benefit plans.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
