Junior Power BI Developer (Remote, 1-year contract)

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Power BI Developer to join our team remotely from Costa Rica for a one-year contract. The role focuses on turning data into interactive dashboards and actionable insights, supporting business stakeholders across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting needs and deliver clear insights.
• Prepare and transform data using Power Query and basic SQL.
• Ensure visual appeal, usability, and performance optimization of dashboards.
• Work alongside senior developers and data engineers to adopt best practices in data modelling and governance.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of hands‑on experience building Power BI dashboards.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and SQL.
• Understanding of data visualisation principles and ability to create intuitive reports.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn advanced Power BI features.
• Good communication skills for interacting with business users.
