Junior Accounting Assistant

About the role
We are looking for a responsible, organized, and detail‑oriented Junior Accounting Assistant to join our team in Escazú. The role supports daily accounting operations and ensures accurate financial records while working closely with senior accountants.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and posting journal entries.
- Perform or support account reconciliations.
- Maintain and update financial spreadsheets.
- Help compile supporting documentation for audits.
- Respond to internal queries regarding account balances.
Required profile
- Currently pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
- Must be able to start immediately and work full‑time on‑site.
- Residency near Escazú and fluent English (at least 90% proficiency).
