IT Technician

About the role

Zimmer Biomet is seeking an IT Technician to join its global medical‑technology team. You will provide hands‑on technical support for end‑user devices, networks, security and communication systems, working both on‑site and virtually.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver customer‑first technical support for IT assets, including desktops, laptops, printers, network equipment and security systems.
• Provide on‑site and remote assistance, including occasional after‑hours and weekend coverage.
• Execute and help define IT processes such as change and incident management, software installation and system configuration.
• Enforce global and local security policies to protect company information assets.
• Document support issues and resolutions to improve team efficiency.
• Assist other IT staff on various projects as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent with specialized IT training or certification.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant IT support experience.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical, critical‑thinking and multitasking abilities.

Required skills

• End‑user IT support (hardware and software troubleshooting).
• Basic networking concepts.
• Familiarity with IT security policies and procedures.
