IT Engineer – SysAdmin & Security (Temporary Contract)

About the role

We are looking for an IT Engineer specializing in systems administration and security on a 6‑month contract. The successful candidate will own the day‑to‑day operation of our identity, endpoint, and threat‑detection platforms while ensuring reliable remote connectivity and email services for a fast‑moving business.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft Entra (Azure AD) – identity governance, access policies and directory services.
• Manage endpoint‑management solutions for device configuration, compliance and lifecycle.
• Operate Microsoft Defender for threat detection, response and security monitoring.
• Configure, maintain and troubleshoot VPN infrastructure for secure remote access.
• Maintain system integrations across the IT ecosystem using API‑based connectivity.
• Oversee corporate email infrastructure – provisioning, configuration and issue escalation.
• Support and administer HubSpot (or similar CRM) from an IT perspective.
• Handle high‑volume support tickets while meeting SLA targets.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in IT operations, systems administration or a senior‑level equivalent.
• Proven ability to work independently in a high‑visibility environment.
• Strong documentation habits – runbooks, operational processes and knowledge bases.
• Excellent written and spoken English (B2+), able to collaborate with US‑based stakeholders.
