Inventory Control Specialist – Operations

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our Operations team. In this position you will ensure inventory accuracy, support purchasing and receiving, and help optimise stock levels across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts, audits and adjustments.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
• Create, process and monitor purchase orders using Microsoft Dynamics.
• Receive, validate and reconcile inventory transactions against PO, invoices and packing slips.
• Coordinate with suppliers to address shortages, damages or pricing issues.
• Monitor consumption trends, assist with demand forecasting and generate inventory reports.
• Support annual physical inventories and internal/external audits.
• Maintain organised documentation and provide administrative support to branch operations.

Required profile

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Accounting or a related field (preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in inventory control, purchasing, warehouse operations or supply‑chain functions.
• Experience with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics is highly preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
