Interior Designer – Hospitality

About the role

Gensler’s Costa Rica office is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to shape hospitality environments that blend beauty, functionality, and cultural relevance. You will work on projects from concept through construction, delivering spaces that surprise and delight guests.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all phases of interior design projects, from programming and conceptual design to construction administration.
• Create mood boards, material palettes, and design presentations with minimal supervision.
• Develop furniture plans, specifications, material selections, and schedules for construction documentation.
• Participate in client and consultant meetings, communicating ideas through hand sketches and digital graphics.
• Apply expertise in hospitality furniture, custom lighting, finishes, colors, and interior design specifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design.
• At least 5 years of post‑graduate interior design experience.
• Strong visual and color sense with a passion for design.
• Excellent graphic, organizational, time‑management, and communication skills.
• Portfolio or work samples submitted in PDF format.
