Installation Project Manager

About the role

The Installation Project Manager leads customer engagements to deliver large, complex, and high‑risk projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards. This hybrid position requires working on‑site at an HPE office two days a week while managing cross‑functional teams and third‑party vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end delivery of customer projects, including scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Oversee project financials such as P&L, provide accurate forecasts, and ensure compliance with SOAR‑approved budgets.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities, support early qualification, and act as opportunity manager for high‑risk deals.
• Maintain strong client relationships and coordinate upper‑level client delivery activities.
• Lead functional project teams, mentor junior staff, and represent HPE to external customers.

Required profile

• Advanced subject‑matter expertise with a track record of solving complex business issues.
• Proven ability to lead large, multi‑region projects with high commercial and legal complexity.
• Strong independent judgment, strategic thinking, and capability to influence process improvements.
• Experience mentoring and guiding lower‑level employees.
