Inside Account Manager – Customer Relations

About the role

The Inside Account Manager – CR will own daily contact with a defined book of accounts, driving revenue and margin growth for Sony’s products and services. You will combine prospecting, data analysis, and strong interpersonal skills to build long‑term relationships and meet sales quotas.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outbound and inbound sales calls to quote prices, provide product information, and nurture relationships with business customers and end‑users.
• Maintain a clean, up‑to‑date pipeline in Salesforce and other pipeline‑management tools.
• Develop and present strategic business plans to senior management, leveraging product mix and profitability analysis.
• Resolve complex customer issues by coordinating stakeholders and driving solutions to resolution.
• Inform resellers and customers about marketing initiatives, promotions, and vendor events.
• Act as a change agent and subject‑matter expert for supporting departments.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in inside sales or account management.
• Proven ability to handle complex customer issues with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.
• Ability to develop strategic plans and present them to senior leadership.
