About the role

Cardinal Health is seeking a Junior Manufacturing Engineer to support plant operations and drive continuous improvement. The role involves planning, organizing, and leading project activities across the manufacturing floor while ensuring safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop project execution plans, define scope, set preliminary budgets, and manage schedules.
• Identify capital improvement opportunities and monitor purchasing demands to optimize plant efficiency.
• Conduct equipment tests to verify safety, maintainability, and product quality.
• Communicate project updates, milestones, and upgrades to Engineering Managers.
• Collaborate with training personnel to deliver training on new or modified equipment.
• Ensure compliance with contractor rules and regulations during project execution.
• Liaise with plant management to resolve project issues and develop feasible solutions.

Required profile

• 0‑2 years of relevant experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field or equivalent work experience (preferred).
• Applies basic engineering concepts to routine tasks and works on limited‑scope projects.
• Follows established procedures to resolve identifiable technical problems.
• Works under direct supervision and follows detailed instructions.
