Human Resources Manager – Shared Services

About the role

Join Bridgestone Business Services as a Human Resources Manager to shape people strategy and teammate experience for the Shared Services Center in Heredia, Costa Rica. You will be the primary HR partner for a workforce of about 500, collaborating with leaders across Costa Rica, Latin America and North America.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main HR partner to Shared Services leaders, translating business priorities into people and organizational strategies.
• Lead talent processes such as performance management, succession planning, workforce planning and employee engagement.
• Provide counsel on complex employee‑relations matters, ensuring compliance with Costa Rican labor legislation.
• Oversee HR operations including compensation, benefits, mobility, hiring, changes and separations, and maintain accurate headcount data.
• Lead, coach and develop a local HR team, establishing service standards and a customer‑service mindset.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field.
• At least eight years of progressive HR experience, including HR leadership or Business Partner roles.
• Strong knowledge of Costa Rican employment laws and experience handling complex employee‑relations issues.
• Full professional fluency in English and Spanish.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leaders in a multinational, matrixed environment.
