HR Manager

About the role

The HR Manager will lead the end‑to‑end employee experience, engagement, culture and local HR services for Experian in Costa Rica. Reporting to the HR Director, you will ensure people programs are employee‑centric, compliant and aligned with regional and global strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute employee experience and engagement initiatives, from onboarding to off‑boarding, fostering a culture of belonging.
• Provide strategic oversight for local HR services, defining ownership, accountability and service standards across benefits, onboarding and lifecycle processes.
• Lead Total Rewards and benefits strategy, conduct market benchmarking and advise leadership on compensation decisions.
• Govern and continuously improve the local benefits offering, establishing eligibility frameworks and business cases.
• Manage relationships with benefits vendors and brokers, negotiating contracts and monitoring performance.
• Utilise HR analytics, surveys and feedback to drive continuous improvement and inclusion.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in Human Resources, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to align local employee needs to regional standards.
• Excellent partnership skills to work with business leaders, HR teams and cross‑functional partners.
• Deep understanding of Costa Rican labor regulations and total rewards practices.
• Data‑driven mindset, comfortable using surveys and analytics to influence decisions.
