Hospitality Interior Designer (Costa Rica)

About the role

Gensler is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to join its Costa Rica office, focusing on hospitality projects. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create engaging, functional, and culturally resonant environments for a variety of brands.

Key responsibilities

• Lead interior design projects from concept through construction administration.
• Develop programming, schematic, and design development packages, including space planning and construction documentation.
• Create mood boards, material palettes, and presentation graphics with minimal supervision.
• Produce detailed furniture plans, specifications, and material schedules.
• Participate in client and consultant meetings, communicating design ideas through sketches and digital graphics.
• Apply knowledge of hospitality furniture, custom lighting, finishes, and color selections.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Interior Design.
• At least 5 years of post‑graduate interior design experience.
• Strong visual and color sense with a passion for design.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management, and communication skills.

Required skills

• High proficiency in Revit.
• Experience with Enscape.
• Advanced skills in Photoshop.
• Proficiency in InDesign.
• Proficiency in Illustrator.
• Experience using Bluebeam.
