About the role
This contract position is for a Hospitalist Physician working remotely to review medical records and support AI training initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Review medical records, including FHIR data and clinical notes for AI training.
- Verify that clinical information and claims are supported by the medical record.
- Assess inpatient documentation such as HPI, PMH, assessments, and plans.
- Identify missing, incorrect, or inconsistent information in records.
- Provide feedback to improve AI models and data quality.
- Communicate findings clearly with the project team.
Required profile
- MD or DO, board certified in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, or Hospital Medicine.
- Strong experience in inpatient/hospitalist settings.
- Understanding of inpatient documentation and hospital workflows.
- Comfortable reviewing clinical notes and raw medical record data.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow clear guidelines consistently.
- Experience with chart review, clinical documentation improvement, utilization review, or medical coding/QA is a plus.
