Go Software Engineer (Remote)

About the role

Command|Link is seeking a Go Engineer to join its platform team. This fully remote position focuses on building and maintaining the back‑end services that power a global SaaS platform for network, voice, and IT security solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Go services and APIs serving a worldwide customer base.
• Participate in technical design and architecture discussions, balancing speed of delivery with long‑term maintainability.
• Write concurrent, high‑performance Go code using goroutines, channels, and context.
• Integrate third‑party APIs, telemetry systems, and network infrastructure to extend platform capabilities.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teammates to translate requirements into well‑scoped, high‑quality features.
• Produce clean, testable, well‑documented Go code and actively engage in code reviews.
• Identify and resolve performance, reliability, and scalability issues with guidance from senior engineers.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and promote operational excellence.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of professional software engineering experience building back‑end services.
• Solid proficiency in Go or strong experience in another back‑end language with demonstrated progress learning Go.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful or event‑driven APIs.
• Familiarity with containerized environments.
