Global Project Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Global Project Accountant to support our meeting and event programs. You will ensure billing, reconciliation, and expense documentation are accurate, timely, and compliant, with exposure to regulated Life Sciences projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client billings, invoice review, and payment processing with high accuracy.
• Track expenses, gather supporting documentation, and keep financial records organized in a deadline‑driven environment.
• Partner with meeting managers and internal teams to monitor expense caps and compliance requirements.
• Research and resolve discrepancies with suppliers and clients in a solution‑focused manner.
• Apply accounting fundamentals and financial analysis to support monthly reconciliation and reporting.

Required profile

• Previous experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, client billing, or project accounting.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• Comfortable working with Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
• Experience in the travel, hotel, or Life Sciences sectors is a plus.
• Open to applicants located in Costa Rica.
