Gerente de Recepción – Hotel de lujo

About the role

Secrets Papagayo Costa Rica, part of the Hyatt Inclusive Collection, is looking for an experienced Front Office Manager to lead the reception team and ensure seamless arrival‑to‑departure experiences for guests at this luxury resort.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily front desk operations, including check‑in, check‑out and guest services.
• Manage and coach a team of reception staff to deliver high‑quality, personalized service.
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints and special requests promptly and professionally.
• Ensure accurate room assignments and billing using the hotel property management system.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to maintain operational efficiency and uphold brand standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in front office operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably in luxury or resort hospitality.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hotel property management systems (PMS).
