Full Stack Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and support an enterprise Intermodal integration portal that combines modern web applications, microservices, APIs, messaging, and backend data integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop backend services using Java 21 and Quarkus, and build REST APIs and system integrations.
• Create frontend components with TypeScript using Angular and/or React.
• Implement business rules, validations, transformations, and exception handling.
• Develop event‑driven integrations using Kafka or other enterprise messaging systems.
• Perform SQL/database development and data integration tasks.
• Write unit tests with JUnit, participate in code reviews, and support CI/CD and containerised deployments.
• Troubleshoot application, API, messaging, and data issues while collaborating with Lead Developers, QA, DevOps, and business SMEs.

Required profile

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Strong Java and microservices development background.
• Experience with Quarkus, Spring Boot, or comparable frameworks.
• Proficient in building REST APIs.
• Strong TypeScript skills with Angular and/or React experience.
• Good SQL/database expertise.
• Experience with Kafka or enterprise messaging platforms.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenShift, or EKS.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.
• Preferred experience in integration‑heavy enterprise applications.
