Full Stack Developer (Shopify/Hydrogen)

About the role

We are a US‑based e‑commerce retailer looking for a pragmatic Full Stack Developer to bridge the gap between our custom headless architecture and standard Shopify expectations. The role is fully remote for candidates in LATAM and works on East Coast hours.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain custom Shopify Hydrogen storefronts using React Router and the Storefront API.
• Implement responsive UI components with HTML, CSS, and modern React while ensuring performance.
• Manage migrations from legacy Shopify Liquid and Django frontends to Hydrogen with data integrity.
• Extend and maintain Python/Django code that powers GraphQL integrations between Shopify and internal ERP/PIM/CRM systems.
• Develop custom middleware for feed syndication, Algolia re‑indexing, and other headless integrations.
• Configure and automate CI/CD pipelines for Hydrogen deployments to Oxygen or similar edge platforms.
• Translate ambiguous business requests into technical solutions or escalation points.

Required profile

• Strong frontend expertise in HTML, CSS, and modern React.
• Hands‑on experience with Shopify Hydrogen, Storefront API, and GraphQL.
• Proficiency in Python and Django for backend integration work.
• Ability to work independently, troubleshoot deployment issues, and communicate technical constraints to non‑technical stakeholders.
