Financial Analyst I – Vendor Funding

About the role

Join Amazon's Selling Partner Finance Tech organization as a Financial Analyst I on the Vendor Funding Agreements Corrections team. You will turn large‑scale billing data into actionable insights that guide strategic decisions across Amazon's vendor funding operations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct deep data analysis of vendor agreement and billing data to identify defects and improvement opportunities.
• Build and maintain financial and operational reports and dashboards that influence business strategy.
• Review business performance and contracts with vendors worldwide, using software tools to surface actionable insights.
• Engage Vendor Managers, Retail Finance, and product teams to drive actions based on analysis.
• Measure, consolidate, and report financial impact for business reviews and executive presentations.
• Contribute to SOP and process improvements that enhance controls and team productivity.
• Identify technology product enhancements and partner with product management to shape roadmaps.
• Participate in strategic initiatives that improve financial integrity and operational excellence.

Required profile

• 2+ years of finance experience, preferably in a large‑scale, data‑driven environment.
• 2+ years building financial and operational reports or data sets that inform business decisions.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders, including senior leadership.
