Finance & Procurement Analyst (Hardware)

About the role

A client of South, a leader in agentic physical security, is hiring a Finance & Procurement Analyst to own hardware procurement, inventory and vendor operations end to end. The role reports to the VP of Strategic Finance and works closely with Sales, Customer Success, Sales Engineering, EPD, Finance and external vendors. It is 100% remote, open to candidates living in Latin America, and takes over day-to-day operations within the first month.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day vendor relationships: order submissions, status, lead times, inventory allocations, export documentation and escalations
• Release purchase orders against confirmed customer orders, and verify orders, pricing, POs and invoices before payment
• Source and qualify additional hardware vendors, lead onboarding, and support pricing negotiations with Finance
• Plan and track inventory using sales forecasts, maintain the SKU and configuration cost matrix, and support pilot fleet inventory with Sales Engineering
• Maintain service tags, deployment nodes and warranty records, manage warranty renewals and transfers, and coordinate with the Hardware Support team
• Document, streamline and automate processes, strengthen controls around order, PO and invoice matching, and improve tracking and reporting

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in inventory management, procurement or accounting with inventory exposure
• Ability to work independently, ramp up quickly and take ownership
• Strong controls mindset, including order, PO and invoice matching, process discipline and attention to detail
• Organized, highly process-oriented, with clear written and verbal communication across Sales, CS, EPD, Finance and vendors
• Willingness to learn quickly; hardware expertise is not required on day one

Required skills

• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets, able to turn sales pipeline reports into stocking plans
• Nice to have: hardware-enabled SaaS or IT hardware experience, vendor relationship management, import/export documentation, asset/warranty tracking and forecasting dashboards
