Finance Manager – Global Finance Solutions

About the role

Amazon's Global Finance Solutions (GFS) team is looking for a Finance Manager to lead a high‑performing group of analysts and partner with business leaders to deliver financial insights, strategic recommendations, and operational efficiencies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of financial analysts, including hiring, performance management and mentoring.
• Own financial planning and analysis for assigned GFS business units, driving monthly close, MBR/QBR preparation and variance analysis.
• Lead the annual operating plan process and quarterly forecasts.
• Build automated solutions for financial reporting and analysis and create executive‑ready deliverables.
• Partner with business teams on strategic initiatives, investment decisions and ad‑hoc analysis.
• Support process‑improvement projects and establish controls and business metrics.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial reporting, P&L analysis and forecasting.
• Strong ability to evaluate Capex/Opex requirements and benchmark cost productivity.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing and developing finance teams.
• Excellent communication skills to facilitate financial review meetings and present recommendations to senior leadership.
