Finance Controller - US&PR

About the role

The Finance Controller manages and is responsible for the performance of the finance team supporting the Hub Regional Financial Controller for their Business Unit and Markets. The role delivers accurate, first‑time reporting and analysis that is insightful, fast and enables the business to develop precise plans within a strong controls and assurance environment.

Key responsibilities

• Report financial results for the market and business unit with commentary on income, balance sheet and cash flow, ensuring full compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Apply appropriate accounting policies and tightly control transaction activity in line with global processes and best‑practice financial controls.
• Provide insight into risk, growth and performance, recommending continuous improvements and remedial actions.
• Sign off statutory results with the in‑market FD and coordinate activities across other business units.
• Consolidate, analyse and interpret divisional results, reviewing financial information against historical run rates and future growth plans.
• Own market balance sheets, approve reconciliations and review accounting papers.
• Support external and internal financial audits and coordinate month‑end review processes, risk registers and variance analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in administration, finance or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain, finance and/or planning, accounting or reporting.
• Knowledge of SAP or another ERP system.
• Power BI experience is desirable.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Advanced level of English proficiency.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office packages.
