About the role

As a Hospital Pharmacist at Hospital Internacional La Católica, you will ensure safe and efficient medication dispensing to patients and clinical units, adhering to current regulations and hospital protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense medications and validate medical prescriptions, checking for interactions and correct dosages.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to provide pharmaceutical advice and patient education.
• Maintain and monitor drug inventory, manage expiries, and coordinate medication orders.
• Participate in pharmacovigilance activities and continuous quality improvement programs.
• Develop and review therapeutic guidelines and contribute to clinical pharmacy projects.

Required profile

• University degree in Pharmacy with a current professional license.
• Proven experience in hospital or clinical pharmacy settings.
• Strong knowledge of clinical pharmacology, drug safety, and health regulations.
• Ability to work interdisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with healthcare professionals and patients.
• Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
