Facilities/Maintenance Engineer I

About the role

Cirtec Medical is seeking a Facilities/Maintenance Engineer I to support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of facility systems and infrastructure in a regulated medical‑device manufacturing environment. The role focuses on ensuring safe, efficient operation of utilities, equipment, and building systems while driving reliability and cost‑optimization initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize HVAC, compressed air, electrical, water, and environmental monitoring systems.
• Plan and execute facility projects, equipment installations, upgrades, and layout changes.
• Perform root‑cause investigations for equipment or facility issues and support corrective actions.
• Develop and run preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams for maintenance and project activities.
• Assist with equipment qualifications and validation (IQ, OQ, PQ) and prepare related documentation.
• Document maintenance activities in the CMMS and monitor performance trends.
• Participate in risk assessments (PFMEA) and continuous‑improvement/Kaizen projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in facilities, maintenance, manufacturing, or engineering environments.
• Familiarity with FDA, ISO, quality and safety standards in a regulated setting.
• Ability to work onsite and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
