Experienced Engineering Technician

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking an Experienced Engineering Technician to support the Electrophysiology platform within its MedTech division. Working on manufacturing lines in Grecia, Costa Rica, you will ensure equipment operates reliably and that production processes meet stringent quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and test apparatus.
• Assist engineers in developing, implementing, and maintaining production processes, tools, and equipment.
• Document operational control standards and verify conformance with engineering specifications.
• Conduct tests on raw materials, components, finished items, and packaging.
• Monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to assess equipment performance.
• Perform basic diagnostic tests, isolate failures, and execute corrective actions.
• Ensure all tools and testing equipment are properly calibrated and maintain GMP compliance.

Required profile

• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within MedTech or related industries.
• Ability to work under supervision while exercising independent judgment on complex tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Effective communication skills for reporting observations and recommendations.
