EU Global Gateway Coordination Expert

About the role

NTU International is building a network of senior experts to support the European Union’s Global Gateway Initiative. The Coordination Expert will help design, prepare and coordinate investment‑oriented development projects across partner countries receiving EU external cooperation support.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and implementation of reform strategies and policy actions aligned with Global Gateway priorities.
• Support coordination across priority sectors and stakeholders, including EU institutions, IFIs, private sector and development partners.
• Identify and prepare investment projects, conduct regulatory and sector analyses, and develop feasibility studies and investment pipelines.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement, dialogue, and institutional coordination processes.
• Assist in donor coordination and alignment with EU external cooperation objectives.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in development cooperation, infrastructure, investment or related fields.
• Proven experience in EU‑funded external cooperation programmes or similar international development initiatives.
• Experience working with partner‑country institutions, international financial institutions or private sector stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, coordination and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• English proficiency at C1 level (mandatory); additional languages are an asset.
