About the role

The position focuses on leading the technical and operational area responsible for identifying, locating and reducing physical losses in potable water supply networks. The specialist will coordinate and supervise activities aimed at leak detection and mitigation, ensuring compliance with technical, contractual, quality and safety requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Draft preliminary studies, conceptual, basic and construction civil engineering projects related to the water cycle.
• Participate actively in the writing, development and coordination of civil engineering projects from initial concept to construction definition.
• Plan, organize and coordinate the identification, location and reduction of leaks in water distribution networks.
• Develop and supervise methodologies, analyze results and ensure project requirements are met.
• Lead the professional team responsible for operational execution of leak‑detection activities.

Required profile

• University degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or an equivalent field.
• Proven experience on at least six leak‑location projects in potable water supply systems within the last 15 years, covering a minimum of 25,000 connections or 50 km of network.
• Technical competence in managing physical losses, leak detection, water supply and distribution systems, hydraulic network analysis, flow and pressure assessment, and related methodologies.
• Ability to interpret technical information, plan, monitor and control results.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with hydraulic network analysis tools and applications used for leak detection (valued).
