Enterprise Architect

About the role

The Enterprise Architect defines, maintains, and governs enterprise architecture standards that enable PriceSmart's technology strategy. Working closely with Product Engineering, Infrastructure & Cloud, Cybersecurity, Data & AI, and Technology Business Operations, the role ensures solutions are scalable, secure, reusable, and aligned with business priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise architecture principles, standards, and reference architectures.
• Define current‑state and target‑state technology roadmaps and maintain the enterprise capability and application landscape.
• Lead architecture reviews for strategic initiatives, ensuring compliance with standards and evaluating exceptions and risks.
• Drive application portfolio rationalization, platform standardization, and technical debt reduction.
• Identify modernization opportunities, evaluate emerging technologies, and recommend adoption.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to provide architectural guidance and promote reusable integration patterns.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
• TOGAF certification preferred; cloud certification (Azure, AWS, or GCP) preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive IT experience, including 5+ years in Enterprise, Solution, or Domain Architecture.
• Experience developing architecture standards, governance, and technology roadmaps.
• Background in cloud platforms, application modernization, and systems integration.
• Experience in large, multi‑country organizations (retail experience preferred).
