About the role
Horizon International School seeks a dedicated Elementary Math Teacher for the first cycle (Primer Ciclo). The role involves delivering bilingual mathematics instruction to young learners in a Christian school environment, fostering both academic excellence and core values.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging math lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain effective classroom management and a respectful learning atmosphere.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate cross‑disciplinary activities.
- Participate in school events and uphold the institution’s Christian ethos.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Strong command of English (B2‑C1 level) for bilingual instruction.
- Responsible, organized, proactive, and committed to student growth.
- Experience teaching mathematics at the elementary level is preferred.
Required skills
- Ability to teach mathematics concepts to primary‑age students.
- Proficiency in English for bilingual classroom settings.
