Early Learning School (ELS) Teacher – Temporary

About the role

Blue Valley School is looking for an experienced, student‑centered Early Learning School (ELS) Teacher on a temporary basis. The teacher will create a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for young learners, fostering curiosity, confidence, and early problem‑solving skills.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age‑appropriate, engaging lessons that align with the school’s curriculum and early learning expectations.
• Observe, assess, and document student progress regularly, using data to tailor instruction and provide targeted support.
• Create a warm, safe, and inclusive classroom where children feel valued and encouraged to explore.
• Differentiate instruction to meet each child’s abilities, interests, and learning needs.
• Collaborate with the early learning team, sharing ideas and participating in professional development.
• Participate in school events, co‑curricular activities, and whole‑school initiatives.
• Maintain open, positive communication with parents to support each child’s academic, social, and emotional growth.
