Driver Assistant II – Transportation Support

About the role

The Driver Assistant II provides essential support for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, materials and equipment across the country. Working under the guidance of a driver, you will assist with loading, unloading, documentation and customer interaction to ensure timely deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the driver in transporting goods, materials, products or equipment to their final destination.
• Load and unload complex items according to the scheduled plan.
• Handle cash transactions and operate electronic devices for delivery confirmation.
• Ensure all required documentation is completed, signed and updated after each delivery.
• Provide courteous customer service and obtain necessary signatures from recipients.
• Participate in mandatory training sessions.
• Follow all food safety procedures and related policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Ability to perform physical loading and unloading tasks safely.
• Basic numeracy for handling money and completing paperwork.
• Comfort with using electronic devices such as handheld scanners or tablets.
