Data Governance Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a Data Governance Consultant to design, implement and operate data governance frameworks for our clients. The role involves hands‑on configuration of data catalogs, defining data quality rules and collaborating with data engineers on cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver data governance operating models, leading implementation for enterprise clients.
• Configure data catalog solutions (e.g., Atlan, Collibra, Alation, Purview) including business glossaries, asset onboarding, lineage and stewardship workflows.
• Define data quality rules with business stakeholders and build scorecards or dashboards to monitor quality over time.
• Partner with data engineers, using SQL and Snowflake, to automate data‑quality checks and monitoring.
• Facilitate workshops and create communication, training and change‑management plans to drive stakeholder adoption.
• Run data issue‑management processes from triage through root‑cause analysis to remediation.

Required profile

• Advanced English proficiency.
• Proven experience delivering data‑governance projects for at least one enterprise client.
• Preferred certifications such as Atlan, Collibra or CDMP.
• Familiarity with AI governance frameworks (NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act, ISO/IEC 42001) and Master Data Management initiatives.
