About the role

The Data Engineer Consultant IV is an individual contributor responsible for driving strategic, data‑informed decisions. The role involves gathering, preparing, and analyzing data, building analytical models, and delivering actionable insights to stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Execute creative data analytic approaches, define metrics, develop and validate algorithms, and conduct descriptive, correlational, inferential, and predictive analyses.
• Develop, implement, and automate business and reporting solutions, create visualizations and interactive BI reports, and document processes.
• Interpret data analyses, craft compelling stories for stakeholders, and provide context on limitations.
• Consult with clients to clarify business needs, design outcome measures, and support end‑user training.
• Gather and validate data from multiple sources, perform routine refreshes, and deliver data collection tools.
• Design and validate analytical or statistical models that enable informed decisions.
• Prepare data for analysis by integrating, cleaning, and ensuring data quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, engineering, science, business or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years of experience in data analytics (or eight years total with three years substituting for the degree).
• At least one year in a lead role and two years of experience with SQL, SQL Server, and Python.
