Customer Trust Analyst – Information Security

About the role

Splunk is looking to add a Customer Trust Analyst to grow our Customer Trust program(s) within the Splunk Global Security team. The role supports customer security due diligence, assessments, and demonstrates Splunk security controls alignment with customer expectations and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide cybersecurity expertise to Field Sales, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success teams for inquiries, questionnaires, audits, and requests regarding Splunk’s global security program and controls.
• Assist in customer security audits, presenting evidence of Splunk security controls.
• Facilitate pre‑sales security assessments and deliver accurate information on Splunk’s security measures.
• Support security conversations with current and prospective customers, managing feedback and coordinating actions.
• Develop customer‑facing documentation representing Splunk security controls.
• Maintain deep knowledge of Splunk products and security information, collaborating across teams.
• Drive process improvement and automation to mature the service and shorten the sales cycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years related experience, or Master’s with 2+ years, or PhD.
• Functional knowledge of cybersecurity principles, concepts, technologies, and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, ISO 27018, SOC 1/SSAE 18, SOC 2, NIS2, NIST CSF, HIPAA, PCI‑DSS, CSA CCM, SIG).
• Understanding of cloud security principles and experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure preferred.

Required skills

• Knowledge of security compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, ISO 27018, SOC 1, SOC 2, NIS2, NIST CSF, HIPAA, PCI‑DSS, CSA CCM, SIG).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Preferred certifications: CISSP, CRISC, CISM, CISA, CCSK, GIAC, CCSP, CSX, CTPRP.
