Customer Service Advisor

About the role

The Customer Service Advisor (CSA) acts as Huntsman's primary point of contact for both internal and external customers, ensuring smooth execution of the order lifecycle from receipt to delivery. The role requires solid knowledge of company systems, policies, and product offerings, and a commitment to delivering accurate, timely service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day relationships and orders for assigned customer accounts, providing knowledgeable and trustworthy service.
• Process orders, returns, cancellations, quotes, and documentation requests in accordance with company procedures.
• Suggest alternative or compatible products when appropriate, based on product knowledge.
• Resolve issues promptly, escalating when necessary and negotiating fees.
• Apply business rules to ordering and delivery processes and own specific streamlined processes such as returns or master data management.
• Communicate order status proactively to customers and sales representatives.
• Collaborate with Finance/Credit, Supply Chain Planning, and Logistics to address order blocks.
• Contribute to key performance metrics such as order entry time, confirmation time, and order change rates.
